Father Ted locationTours
The Burren is the inspiration and the location for Craggy Island in the iconic TV series, Father Ted. Ted Tours is based in the Burren Hub in Kilfenora, and offers both guided and self guided tours of the Father Ted filming locations. Visit locations such as the waterfall in the Song for Europe episode, the Mainland, and the Chinese pub where Ted became known as a racist, and, of course, stop outside those famous gates of the Craggy Island Parochial House.
Soak up the Craggy Island atmosphere with your very own expert guide who can take you to all of the locations, and provide loads of information and stories, or take yourself around with our self guided app. But whatever you do, make time to meet the locals and have a few pints in the pubs where the cast and crew drank while filming the series in 1995-1998.
Private and large group tours available.
