Clare Bus is a non-profit company whose been in service since January 2003. It has 8 low floor buses operating throughout Co. Clare. The Bus drivers are trained through the Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme and CPC. Their services are designed to support communities and increase options at a local level, while opening up access to the National Transport Network.
Calls are taken through the Travel Centre by our dispatchers and sent to the team of drivers operating throughout the County.
Clare Bus is working closely with several agencies including the Burren & Cliffs of Moher Geopark to further the County Development Plan in the area of accessible public rural and urban transport services through out the County.
Registration
Clare Bus require registration before you use this service. You can either:
- Call the Travel Centre and your time and pick up point will be given to you.
- Registration can be arranged on your first journey and if you are a fare-paying passenger you receive your first trip for free!
Visitors to the area register for free and just pay for their first journey.
Annual registration and renewal is €10. You will receive a membership card and service information in the post.

Books of twenty €1, €2, €3, €4 and €5 tickets, Weekly & Rover tickets are available to buy on-line via PayPal or by post from our Travel Centre or from the following outlets:
