Introduction

Hylands Burren Hotel is located in the unspoiled and picturesque coastal village of Ballyvaughan which is on the mid point of the Wild Atlantic Way and is surrounded by the mystical Burren district of Co. Clare. This is truly an excellent base to visit all the tourist attractions that are on your doorstep or to take day trips north and south of the Wild Atlantic Way. Popular attractions in Co. Clare include the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands Ailwee and Doolin Caves and there’s so much more on offer – just ask at our hotel reception and we will be delighted to advise you on how to make the most of your stay in the Burren and Ireland.

The hotel is family owned and managed by the Quinn family whose ancestors have lived in the community for over a century. Since we acquired the hotel in 2015, we have extensively refurbished and invested significantly in the hotel to ensure that all our guests have a delighted experience staying with us.

In addition to a warm personal welcome, you will enjoy the warmth of our wood burning stove fires mixed with the tranquillity of bygone charm and traditional Irish hospitality. The hotel’s relaxing atmosphere is matched by quality service which is what makes Hylands Burren Hotel so special and attracts our guests to repeatedly return to the hotel again and again.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Hylands Burren Hotel, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare!
