We are a small passionate and caring team of professionals who strive to make a visit to Burren Fine Wine & Food a unique experience. Where you can relax forget about the pressures of everyday life, enjoy good local food and a glass of wine. In this hidden corner time stands still and nature speaks its secret language even without sampling from our unique Wine List, this list includes many additive free Organic Award winning European wines.
Summer season at Burren Fine Wine & Food is the time to enjoy a selection of tasty lunches, using local seasonal and organic ingredients delivered with an International twist by Chef Lewn who has catering experience in everything from fine dining to tiny cafes all over the United States and Europe. Bread and Desserts are made in house by Cathleen in good old fashioned Irish style.
Summer season is normally May to September.

Our wines can be purchased on line year round, with delivery nationwide.
Join us for your small private party, family weddings or an occasional Irish Party Evenings enjoyed by both locals and tourists alike. The Party evenings are a combination of Traditional Home-made Irish Food, music, song, poetry and storytelling.
Early Bird Cycling Tour
Join a local guide on an early morning guided cycling tour through the heart of the Burren at the end be rewarded with a delicious freshly prepared mouth-watering breakfast at Burren Fine Wine & Food.
Starting early in the morning normally 7.30am when the roads are quieter and the birds are singing, peacefully pedalling through this spectacular landscape is a magical experience for you to remember for many a day after your Burren visit.
Highlights on the way include Earthen Ring Forts, Stone Forts, Castles, Holy Wells, Wedge Tombs, Portal Tombs and Cairns.
For your breakfast you will have a choice of fresh free-range eggs from a neighbouring farm and hot scones straight from our oven or an Organic Smoked Salmon Bagel using salmon from the Burren Smokehouse and bagels from New Quay.
This experience was acknowledged as one of National Geographic’s Top 10 Activities along the Wild Atlantic Way in 2014. Included on Failte Ireland’s original 50 Secrets of the Wild Atlantic Way it was also featured on RTE’s Eco Eye programme.
Rathbourney Valley Guided Walk.
A 2 Course Meal and Guided Walking Tour of the majestic, rocky Burren where you will feel the limestone, breathe fresh air and learn how the locals live now and for thousands of years gone by. Walk through a working farm and possibly meet some of the farm animals. Karen, your local bubbly guide, will also point out some stunning examples of the world-famous Artic/Alpine/Mediterranean mix of wild flowers as you listen to the gentle flow of the Rathbourney River slowly making its way to Galway Bay amid a lovely green canopy of hazel.
This beautiful secluded valley is also rich in antiquities including a huge ring fort, a medieval ecclesiastical site and an 18th century church.
Return to Burren Fine Wine & Food to be greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, hot scones and other delightful local produce prepared by Karen’s mother for your delicious two course meal. Cathleen grows or sources much of the food she serves from local farmers and traders including Smoked Fish, Cheeses, Cured meats, Artisan Pickles and Ferments. The decadent home-made desserts are not to be missed or a glass of wine from the unique Wine List.
